Sunday night I attended a Disney themed party. I chose to be Ariel from the little mermaid! Childhood dream come true, and a fun project to work with! My cousin Viktoria and I decided to both be mermaids so we made our costumes together. I sewed our fishtails and then we spent a few evenings together gluing seashell crowns and mermaid bras. Scroll down to see all the pictures!
Ariel details.
Close up on the make up.

I loved the glitter details.
Progress picture. I used a white bra from my favorite brand Hunkemöller
I glued pearls to get the shape of sea shells. Afterwards I sprayed it purple.
My finished bra! After spraying it purple I added crystals and some shells as a final detail.
Viktoria's bra turned out soo incredible to her fabric.
Both of the crowns that we made, mine to the left and Viktoria's to the right.
So happy about how the fishtail turned out, it became so much better than I ever could have imagined.

Some polaroids from the evening!
Jake wanted to be Aladdin so I made his entire costume but after getting off work late into the evening he decided to skip the hat and sandals.
Our childhood dream come true, being mermaids for an evening!

My Designs

Hi,
And welcome to my blog!
I am a Swedish woman in my twenties. One of my biggest passions in life is fashion and design, and here you will be able to see the fashion I like, the clothes I design and all my other projects in my daily life.
2016 was a big year for me when it comes to my clothes, I was able to have four shows of a small collection I designed and sewed called Egyptian Gold Collection. The name says it all, my collection was inspired by Cleopatra so I wanted alot of gold colors, flattering lines and garments with a powerful feel. My favorite thing about the shows was that I was able to get to know and work with many talented young women. One of the places we showed the collection at was the mall Mitt i City Gallerian in Karlstad, Sweden. That show was a cooperation with the students from the makeupartist program on Nobel Gymnasiet, were they got to do the makeup I'd chose for my models. For the other shows my good friend Viktoria, who works as a makeup artist had been avaliable for help and makeup. The last show took place at Värmlands Museum in Karlstad, it was a beautiful setting and the girls and I were able to take a lot of beautiful picutres.
Hope you will enjoy my blog and if you have bloglovin, make sure to follow my blog on there to easily know when a new post is out!
